The General Assembly of the Network to Promote Linguistic Diversity took place on May 25th, at El Carme Cultural Centre in the city of Valencia,

Rosa de les Neus Marco, executive member of Plataforma per la Llengua, and vice-president of the European Language  Equality Network, participated in the event. During the General Assembly the NGO of the Catalan language was invited to become a new member of the NPLD Executive Committee, initially with temporary status.

The Network to Promote Linguistic Diversity is the European network through which governments and European associations work toward promoting minority language diffusion and rights.
